  • To protect the privacy of our clients, family members may not remain with you during your treatment. A waiting room is provided for their comfort. A trained staff member is always in the room during treatment. You can communicate with them at any time.

  • We put safety first. Cotton clothing to wear during your treatment. Please do not wear any of the following items when you come to the center for hyperoxygenation therapy:

    Makeup

    Wigs or hair pieces

Nail polish that has been on for less than 24 hours. You may paint your nails at least 24 hours before an hyperoxygenation treatment.

    Loose fitting dentures

    Contact lenses

You cannot have anything in your mouth such as gum, loose dentures or candy during treatment. you will be permitted to bring your cell phone into the chamber.

  • Treatment is different for each client . It depends on the clients condition and response to therapy. Most clients receive between 30 and 40 treatments.

  • Each treatment will last about one hour . You can receive one treatment per day. Your provider will tell you if you need more than one treatment per day.

  • Staff will take your vital signs, collect data and ask you several questions. The inside of your ears will be examined. You will be asked about your pain. Safety checks will be done before each treatment.

  • Hyperoxygenation is not painful. At the beginning of your treatment you may feel pressure in your ears, like when you fly in a plane or drive up into the mountains. You may have to clear your ears. The hyperoxygenation staff will instruct you on methods for clearing your ears:

    Swallow

    Yawn

    Open and close your mouth

Let the staff know if you feel ill or if you are congested.

  • Tell your provider if you have:

An internal battery operated medical device such as a pacemaker or pain pump. The staff will make sure your device can be used in the chamber.

If you have an external battery operated medical device, it cannot go into the chamber. Your hyperoxygenation staff will contact your provider for instructions on how to deal with this device.

Inform your hyperoxygenation provider if you have ever had chemotherapy.

  • Your provider will discuss your blood sugar control with you. The hyperoxygenation staff will ask you to check your blood sugar before and after treatment. Take your medicine as prescribed. Eat before hyperoxygenation.

  • When you are in the chamber, you can see out in all directions. If you are anxious, your doctor can prescribe medicine to help you relax.

FAQs FOR RED LIGHT THERAPY

  • Light therapy is among the earliest recorded healing modalities. Solar therapy was first used by the Egyptians, and forms of light therapy were also practiced by the ancient Greeks, Chinese and Indians.

There's no question that light exerts biological effects: in fact, the body needs light to be healthy. Clinical studies are now establishing how different wavelengths of light affect the body at a cellular level, the conditions that can be successfully treated using light therapy, and for the optimal conditions needed to absorb the benefits of light based treatments. All light falls along the spectrum of wavelengths. Red and infrared light that falls within the wavelength range of 630 -850 nanometers (nm) is extremely beneficial, and often referred to as the “therapeutic window”.

Red light emits wavelengths between 620-700 nanometers (nm). All red light wavelengths are effective and offer health benefits, although certain wavelengths are more powerful than others – particularly those that fall between 620-680 nanometers (nm). Visible red light within this range can penetrate deep into the skin, offering rejuvenating and balancing outcomes for a range of health conditions.

  • Our Red Light Therapy replicates and produces near-end infrared light spectrum. This light facilitates vasodilation of peripheral arterioles, which increases the nutrient content to facilitate fast healing. It also facilitates the draining of metabolic waste products out of your system thus reducing the oxidative stress of surrounding tissues which promotes a healthy cell cycle.

  • There are many different things you can be doing during a session. It all depends on why you’re using the program. Some clients might be doing our ayurvedic oil pulling program in combination with red light. Others might be in a one-on-one yoga session. There is no strenuous exercise that will take place during this program.

  • Red and infrared light falls within the wavelength range of 630-850 nanometers (nm). It is often referred to as the “therapeutic window”.

  • Sunlight includes a component of red light; it is this light wavelength that contributes to the enhanced sense of well-being we experience after a few hours outdoors. LED light therapy devices harness the regenerative healing red light wavelengths, without more problematic UVA and UVB light rays that can cause skin cancer and premature aging.

Led light therapy therefore, is the therapeutic science of utilizing red and infrared light wavelengths to assist with the treatments of health conditions, and promote general well-being.

FAQs FOR GSMI

  • Yes RSI can be prevented if self or professional ergonomic analysis is performed. It includes an analysis of frequent functional & occupational tasks, itemizing the musculoskeletal deficiency with an action plan, and engages in scrutiny of compensatory strategies to fulfill your desired functional outcome.

  • GSMI uses individualized assessment to focus on the main issue regarding your muscle health. For example, the staff could use an ultrasound device in order to facilitate correct muscle vibration and alleviate stress on certain key body points.

  • Muscle Optimization is finding the optimum length, strength, and motor control tailored specific to your body. The goal is not to create a drastic change in your muscles’ length, strength, and power, but instead to create a proportional change in relations to the other surrounding muscles.

  • Any strength training which incorporates high excessive loading is highly prone to micro muscle injury also called as repeated stress injury (RSI). This can cause irreversible replacement of muscle fiber to turn into scar tissue which loses its stretchability, extensibility and full range functionality leading to recurrent pain and adverse effect on other body parts.

  • The easiest way is to listen to your body. Using your range of motion as well as your internal body signals, muscle training should push you into more advantageous positions without causing overexertion. Take the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) yoga poses for example. These twelve motions are the best for self-stretching, core stability, and safe strength training without overexerting your body’s natural posture. Know your limits, build muscle, be safe, and avoid injury.

  • GSMI core foundation is based on bilateral muscle strength, function and range optimization. This activity focuses on communication between the muscle and mind. GSMI GTO stimulation assists in improving your body’s reflex time and analyzing the limitations. Achieve Positive Health Karma by redirecting musculoskeletal synchronization. Outcomes of Positive Health Karma includes range of motion, strength range, center of gravity, functional ergonomic analysis and muscle optimization.

  • NO, We are not covered by Medicare or any other Insurance . For purposes of coverage under Medicare, hyperbaric oxygen (hyperoxygenation) therapy is a modality in which the entire body is exposed to oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure. Our equipment doesn’t expose oxygen to the entire body under increased Atmospheric pressure. We don’t provide any interventions for conditions under §270.4(A) conditions. All other indications not specified under §270.4(A) are not covered under the Medicare program. No program payment may be made by CMS for any conditions other than those listed in §270.4(A). Scientifically supported hyperbaric treatments are usually delivered at pressures between 1.9 to 3.0 ATA.** hyperoxygenation2 therapy is a standard of care for many medical conditions but O2PT is neither competent or qualified to provide such treatments . For more information please reference https://www.uhms.org/images/UHMS-Reference-Material.pdf .

Hyperbaric treatment at minimally elevated chamber pressures (mild hyperbaric oxygen) is unproven. Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy is currently considered to be exposures delivered at pressures lower than 1.5 ATA. Most clients in “mild hyperbaric chambers” receive breathing gas mixes well less than 95% O2, often delivered through breathing devices such as masks that do not provide a tight seal and by the nature of their construction allow mixing gas with the ambient chamber air, further reducing the oxygen concentration. Unfortunately, these treatments have become widely available in so-called “wellness centers” and health spas outside the setting of medical facilities, including physicians’ offices. Generally, these treatments are not physician-prescribed or supervised. The recent interest in and commercial growth of these treatments has led to the use of unsafe and unapproved chamber vessels outside medical facilities and often in commercial properties in malls or shopping centers. These facilities often operate without the appropriate adherence to fire safety and chamber construction standards, putting those exposed at risk for serious injury and even death. These facilities typically deliver sessions in these low-pressure vessels for a spectrum of medical disorders or complaints, including those for which standard hyperbaric medicine has been found to be effective, but also including disorders for which there is no scientific proof for any type of hyperbaric oxygen treatments.

  • As we all know a majority of body weight consists of water. It acts as a transportation system for micronutrients such as Sodium, Potassium, and Calcium. These sodium potassium pumps play a vital role in muscle contractions. Muscle contraction helps blood flow. Effective muscle contraction reduces heartload and regulates blood pressure.
